Under-desk treadmill
An under-desk treadmill is a walking pad with a low deck and no rails. You walk while you type. If the deck is tall, it is just a walking pad you trip over.
| Model | Why it fits a desk | Watch-out | Sample price |
|---|---|---|---|
| WalkingPad A1 Pro | Low profile under-desk treadmill | No incline | $399 |
| WalkingPad C2 | Better if you fold it away after work | Less “always under the desk” | $449 |
| UREVO Cyberpad Smart Treadmill 14% Incline | Incline walking | Taller than a flat pad | See listing |
Set the desk at the height you actually type at. Slide a book stack the thickness of the deck under your feet. If your knees hit the desktop, that under-desk treadmill will not work, no matter the review score.
Keep speed near 1.5–2.2 mph while typing. Faster is a walk you take after the call, which is when a folding walking pad beats a machine that lives under the desk all day.
